Primary RS-232 Serial Interface

The primary RS-232 serial communication line connector is an RJ-11 modular jack, CablesNMor T23750. The plug is a standard RJ-11 phone plug, such as a Jameco 115617CH. This port is used as the serial console port and can also be accessed by GPL procedures as device /dev/com1. See Figure 2-25 and Table 2-16
