Logging into the controller.

After connecting to the controller using your browser, the login screen will appear. This screen displays the controller identity (name) along with its serial number.

The login procedure allows you to select one of four access levels that specify the types of operations that you wish to perform.  After entering your password, press the appropriate access level button to complete the login procedure.

Detailed information about the controller that you are accessing. This includes the serial number of the controller.

Provides minimal access for running the system.

This level allows access to a special custom application web, if one exists.  These webs permit system developers to customize the operator interface for the controller.  Custom webs can be developed using standard web design techniques and then are loaded into the controller's flash disk.  Please see the section on Custom Web Page Development for more information if you wish to generate application specific web pages.

Provides minimal access for running the system.

This level allows access to the basic control panels that provide the user with the ability to startup, operate and stop the system. The permitted functions include enabling and disabling the motor power for the robot, calibrating the robot, starting and stopping system program tasks, and manually repositioning the robot via a Virtual Manual Control Pendant.

Provides access to most area but with some limitations.

This level allows access to almost all functions. This includes the operator control panels, system setup parameters, and data logging and tuning. However, write access is limited to those parameters needed for maintenance operations. Read only access is generally provided for all other parameters.

Provides the highest level of access. There are no limitations. Should be used for configuration of system only.

This level allows access to all functions of the system without limitation. This level should only be used by personnel experienced in configuring the system. This mode also enables several configuration wizards. These wizards can be used to easily setup the controller the first time.
