Remarks

When this special URL address is received by the web server, rather than fetching a standard disk file, it dynamically generates and returns a file that contains the thread execution time data collected by the last execution of the controller's CPU Monitor facility.

In a non-embedded web server, this function would be performed by an independent task that is implemented using CGI (Common Gateway Interface) technology.  In the controller's embedded web server, this task is performed by a special function built into the web server to minimize system overhead.

In order for the returned file to be automatically routed to a future custom viewer application, the file is marked with a special "Content-type" HTML attribute.

Examples

The following is a minimal HTML sample file that implements a button that retrieves the last recorded CPU Monitor results.  Save this sequence in a file as /flash/appweb/test.html.

<html>
<body>
<p><form action="/cpu_mon.pcm" method="get" class="center">
<input type="submit" value="Retrieve CPU Monitor Results">
</form></p>
</body>
</html>

Directly display test.html by specifying its address in a browser. When it is displayed, press the button to dynamically create and retrieve the CPU Monitor file.
