Board type

Uint16

RO

Servo board type. The following board types are supported:

   0 - Generic servo board
   1 - IDS board for Bayside iDrive2
   2 - MIDS board for Guidance 3000
100 - Virtual servo board for simulation

10081

Board option

Uint16

RO

(Not used) Servo board options.

10082

FPGA code version number

Uint32

RO

FPGA code version. Note: The version number should be converted to hexadecimal for display.

10083

Servo baseline update rate, second

Flt32

RO

Servo's fundamental update rate. Currently it's set to 125 micro-seconds. All timing within the servo is based on this rate.

10084

Bus number

Int8

RO

(Not used) Controller bus number.

10085

Node number

Int8

RO

Controller node number.

10086

Device type

Int16

RO

Physical device type.

10087

Max # of axes allowed for this board

Int8

RO

Maximum # of axes (both servo axes and auxiliary axes) that the board may accommodate. Note that an auxiliary axis is for encoder feedback only.

10088

Max # of servo axes of this board

Int8

RO

Maximum # of servo axes that the board may accommodate.

10089

Max # of auxiliary axes of this board

Int8

RO

Maximum # of auxiliary axes that the board may accommodate.

10090

# of initialized axes

Int8

RO

Total # of initialized axes, which include both servo and auxiliary axes.

10091

# of enabled servo axes

Int8

RO

Total # of enabled servoed axes. This number will be <= the # of initialized axes.

10092

# of enabled auxiliary axes

Int8

RO

Total # of enabled auxiliary axes. This number will be <= the # of initialized axes.

10093

Axis initialized bitmask

Uint32

RO

A bitmask that indicates which axes are initialized. If an axis is initialized then the corresponding bit will be set to "1".

10094

Axis enabled bitmask

Uint32

RO

A bitmask that indicates which axes are both initialized and enabled. If an axis is enabled then the corresponding bit will be set to "1".

10095

# of axis configuration options

Int8

RO

Total # of default axes configuration options of a servo board.

MIDS - A total of 11 config options:
0 - (default) 4 single loop axes, 2 auxiliary feedback axes
    1 - (PrecisePlace 1300 Beta 1, blinking light at top of Z-axis) 2 dual-loop axes, 1 single loop axis
    2 - (PrecisePlace 1400 Beta 1, blinking light at top of Z-axis) 2 dual-loop axes, 1 single loop axis, 1 dual-loop axis
    3 - 1 single loop axis
    4 - 2 dual-loop axes
    5 - 1 dual-loop axis
    6 - 2 dual-loop axes, 2 single loop axes
7 - (PrecisePlace 1300, blinking light at top of Z motor) 2 dual-loop axes, 1 single loop axis
    8 - (PrecisePlace 1400, blinking light at top of Z motor) 2 dual-loop axes, 1 single loop axis, 1 dual-loop axis
9 - (Guidance 0400) Up to 4 3rd party amplifiers and no integrated drives
10 - (Guidance 0600) Up to 6 3rd party amplifiers and no integrated drives

IDS - A total of 1 config option:
0 - 1 single loop axis, 1 auxiliary feedback axis

Simulation - A total of 4 config options:
0 - (default) 3 single loop axes, 1 auxiliary feedback axis
    1 - 2 dual-loop axes
2 - 4 servo axes with first two axes emulating PA encoder
    3 - 4-channel DAC based servo axes

The configuration selection is specified via Data ID 10008. If the input selection of Data ID 10008 is out of range (as defined for the different boards above), then the default configuration "0" is used. If the config selection of Data ID 10008 is "-1", then a custom configuration, based on Data ID's 10020 to 10048, is used.
