Encoder - Precise Absolute Encoder Parameters

10240

Index adjustment per travel direction

Flt32

Due to the nature of the index track setup of the Precise absolute encoder, the raw index count values for an index code (see DataID 12240) differ depending on the direction of travel. This parameter specifies the adjustment amount used by the servo's index checking routine to compensate for this position difference.

10241

Number of consecutive index to find during homing

Uint16

0

10

The number of consecutive valid indices that must be found during the homing process. This is only used by the Precise absolute encoder.  Increasing this value will improve the reliability of the homing operation in situations where an incorrect index might be generated.  However, this parameter also increases the amount that the axis must travel during the homing operation.

The default value is 0. A value of 0 or 1 means find only 1 index.
